Mission

Rich Acres Solutions is a modern firm providing accounting services and business consulting.  We have two offices - one in Martinsville, Virginia, and another in Denver, Colorado - but we are happy to serve clients across the country. We currently provide services to clients in Virginia, North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.

We help clients offload the busywork of accounting so they can do what they do best.  In doing so, our clients are entrusting us with one of the most important aspects of their business.  In addition to "keeping up with the books," our accounting services include analysis and expert advice regarding your financial landscape.  

 

We also provide consulting services to help you succeed and reach your company's goals.  We've worked across an array of industries and have experience with workflow optimization, organizational charts and reorganization, and other business tools that will help you operate more efficiently and effectively.

Jamie Harrill

Jamie Harrill, founder of Rich Acres Solutions, has a diverse professional background analyzing and refining business operations.  She has an acute focus for increasing revenue, improving operations, and developing people.  Her management and leadership skills are complemented by her accounting experience, making her a standout in the business world.

She is a fast-paced, detail oriented, Type A, Excel guru.  A QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor, she also holds a degree in Accounting and an MBA with a specialization in Management.  Jamie has worked across a vast array of industries including healthcare, nonprofit, higher education, and fitness.

Jamie has a proven track record of analyzing and improving business operations across an array of industries.  She has helped organizations increase revenue by as much as 51% and decrease expenses by 45%.  She has improved customer engagement by 42% and grown business offerings by 31%.  Jamie has managed teams as large as 30 employees and has assisted with numerous organizational restructurings.

​In addition to her accounting and management background, Jamie brings niche talent to the table:  she has successfully secured over $1,000,000 in government contracts and also has experience with the Paycheck Protection Program application and forgiveness process along with the Employee Retention Credit program.  She has a background in in grant and fund accounting as well as with government-mandated Operational Site Visits.  She has experience writing business and strategic plans as well as job descriptions and revamping existing positions.

Jamie has a bubbly personality not often found in the business sector.  She’s usually the brightest dressed in the room and has never met a stranger.  Jamie and her husband enjoy cooking together, visiting Smith Mountain Lake, and spending time with their animals - they have three dogs and a coop full of chickens and ducks.

Brandon Ford

Brandon Ford complements the team with his entrepreneurial experience and multi-industry work history.  He successfully started and operated his first business when he was just 22 years old.  Brandon craves to understand how businesses operate at a “nuts-and-bolts” level, making him the ideal person to prepare and analyze financial records.  

 

He is a Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor, has a four-year degree in Accounting, and is highly skilled in Excel.  Brandon has experience in multiple industries which include construction, entertainment, food and beverage, non-profit, automotive, and E-commerce. His diverse background ensures that he can accurately account for a wide range of process flows.  He is a true, jack-of-all-trades accountant. 

 

Brandon loves to connect with people. He makes friends wherever he goes. Outside of work, he can be found on the ski slopes of Colorado or with a wrench in his hands working on old motorcycles. Brandon also enjoys boating and fishing regularly at Smith Mountain Lake.
